Four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez, 39 years old, held a press conference with the media in Mexico City. The Mexican superstar said he might very well retire after scoring a huge sixth round knockout over Manny Pacquiao in their fourth bout last Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Marquez's 14 year old son would like to see his father fight one more time, but the Mexican star says his wife is not moving away from her request to see him retire. Before the Pacquiao win, Marquez had promised his wife that he would retire afterwards regardless of the outcome.

"I have to convince [my wife]. It is a family decision. I'd like one more fight, not specifically against Pacquiao, but one that I could stage here in my city," said Marquez.

Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions is hoping that Marquez continues - ¨Juan Manuel still has a lot to give in boxing, but first Juan has to talk with his family and we respect that very much.....then we'll talk with him, but I hope he continues.¨
