Mexico City, Mexico - At an emotional news conference - boxing idol Juan Manuel Marquez and his Ukrainian rival Sergey Fedchenko want face to face for the first time. The clash at the Arena Mexico this Saturday. Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KOs) will face Fedchenko (30-1, 13 KOs) for the interim-junior welterweight world championship under the World Boxing Organization (WBO). The card will be promoted by Zanfer and Top Rank, and broadcast in Mexico through TV Azteca, and in the United States on HBO pay-per-view.

"18 years ago I had my last fight in Mexico City. And since that time wonderful things have happened to my career and now I have the opportunity to return with a load of good vibes for everyone and it motivates me and makes me want to showcase more of my abilities in the ring," said Marquez.

"Everyone knows over and over that I won all three of my fights with Pacquiao, but now more than ever I have the desire for a fourth fight with him and I have the full backing of Zanfer and Fernando Beltran to do so, but first I have to defeat the Ukrainian."
