The "regular" bantamweight world champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Japan's Koki Kameda, will defend his title against Korea's Jung Oh Son on Tuesday night at the Convention Center in Jeju, South Korea. In what will be the third defense this year, Kameda (31-1, 17 KOs) is entering hostile territory to face Oh Son (20-4-2, 6 KOs), currently sitting at No. 14 in the world rankings under the WBA. Both fighters weighed in at 53.120 kg. - 117.1-pounds.

It should be noted that the WBA will be using the "half-point" scoring system for the fight.

The authorities designated by the WBA: the referee will be the New Zealand's Ferlin Marsh. The judges will Abainza Silvestre, Carla Caiz and Alfredo Polanco. The supervisor will be Venezuela's Noryoli Gil.
