With a month to go before he defends his WBA bantamweight championship, Koki Kameda is training hard in Tokyo, Japan. The expected fight between De la Mora and Kameda and will be held at the Nihon Budokan in Tokyo on August 31.

Koki, 24, with a professional record of 25 wins, 16 by knockout and one loss, is preparing diligently to defend the belt against undefeated Mexican David de la Mora, 23, with a record of 23 wins and 16 knockouts.

"We know the dangers of David de la Mora, who possess a strong punch, skill and speed," said the champion. "It will be a great battle and I will be the winner."

The Japanese fighter will defend his belt for the second time after winning it from Alexander Munoz in December of 2010, which he successfully retained against Nicaragua's Daniel Diaz nearly three months later.

Koki Kameda, who reigned in the flyweight (WBA) and super flyweight (WBC) divisions, recognizes that his next start in the ring will be very risky and he is preparing harder than ever.

Daiki And Tomoki

Koki's younger brothers, who are Daiki and Tomoki, have begun to train even though they don't have dates for their next fights.

Both Daiki and Tomoki won their fights three weeks ago in Fukuoka, against Chatchai Monthon of Thailand and Filipino boxer Dondee Pumar.
