CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO - Former double world champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez continues to prepare for the rematch with the featherweight champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Mexico's Orlando Salido, which is scheduled for March 10 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A presentation by Top Rank, in association with PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP), Zanfer Promotions and the Municipality of San Juan, and televised by the Showtime and Showtime Extreme.

Lopez (31-1, 28 KOs) stepped on the scale for his last pre-fight weigh-in before facing Salido (37-11-2, 25 KOs), and he came in at 133.3 pounds.

"We have a weight loss plan which is strategic, not crazy, and we are doing very well. I feel good and I'm eating well and I feel much better than I've felt at other times," Lopez told reporters after the mandatory weigh-in by the Boxing Commission of Puerto Rico.

"We are leaving the gym at 131 pounds and now scored 133 before training. I weighed myself on the scale that I was 132, but here I 133. I feel great, and I hope to be on weight and on Thursday, the day before the official weigh-in, following everything in the training plan.

Top 135 pounder, Jose "Chelo" Gonzalez (18-0, 13 KOs), who defends his WBO Latino lightweight title against John Garcia (16-3, 5 KOs) on the undercard, came in at 142 pounds.

Meanwhile, former Olympian and world amateur champion McWilliams Arroyo (10-1, 9 KOs), who faces Mexican Luis "Titi" Maldonado (36-7-1, 27 KOs) in a bout for the WBO flyweight title, weighed in at 114.9 pounds.
