Former two time world champion, Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez, arrived in Dallas, Texas, this afternoon for his bout against the World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion Miguel Angel “Mikey” Garcia this Saturday, June 15, at the American Airlines Center in a Top Rank presentation to be broadcasted on HBO’s “Boxing After Dark”.

Juanma Lopez (33-2, 30 KOs) is in Dallas with his team partner in Caguas, prospect John Karl Sosa (7-0, 5 KOs), who will fight in the show, and his manager Orlando Piñero, trainers Alex Caraballo and Freddy Trinidad, and PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) Vice-President, Peter Rivera.

Tomorrow Juanma Lopez and Mikey Garcia (31-0, 26 KOs) will make workouts open to the public at the AT&T Plaza in the south area of the American Airlines Center. Juanma Lopez will train at 2:00 p.m. and Mikey Garcia at 2:30 (Dallas Time).

Meanwhile, the undefeated Sosa will face Mexican Alexis Peña (7-2, 5 KOs) in one of the undercard fights this Saturday. The Sosa-Peña bout is scheduled for six rounds in the junior welterweight division.
