Jorge "Maromerito" Paez already surpassed his first rival: The scale, important because on other occasions he had had problems with this requirement.

Now he has to overcome three great challenges: To get revenge on an opponent that already beat him, with an ultimatum that if he does not shine and exploit his potential, then his career will be in serious jeopardy in Mexico City.

"Maromerito" Páez (40-11-2, 24 ko's) will have the rematch with the Argentine José Carlos "Puro" Paz (22-7-1, 12 KO's) this Saturday, in the Deportivo del Sindicato de Trabajadores del Metro, headlining a Zanfer show that will be broadcast by the Casa del Boxeo, Azteca 7.

Paz beat Páez by unanimous decision in October 2017 in Tampico and in his most recent bout, last May, he also beat Omar Chávez by points.

For his part, the "Maromerito" fought in Mexico City in March 2016 against Antonio Margarito, who went down but ended up winning the contest on points.

The function will be supported by the strong South Californian prospect, Carlos "Chinito" Ornelas (21-0-0, 12 KO's), who will put his undefeated record against the Venezuelan Wilmank Cano Jr (15-1-2, 6 KO's).
