On February 3rd, unbeaten Hylon Williams 15-0-0 (3KO's) and Rances Barthelemy 14-0-0 (11 KO's), will trade leather in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Wednesday, Williams held an eight round sparring session against Amir Iman, at The Heavyweight Factory GYM in Hollywood, Fla.

The 21-years-old Williams and his trainer, Cuban Ramón Garbey, prepare themselves to face the Cuba's Barthelemy in a 132-pound fight. Williams is lightweight, however in his last fight he moved up to super lightweight and defeated Andre Baker on December 3rd.

“Hylon can fight up to 140 pounds; nevertheless, we believe that its best at this stage to fight at 130 pounds. In the future we can go up to 135 or 140, but at this time we believe that his best weight is lightweight," his manager Alex Bornote said.

We observe that Williams does very well against Amir Iman, a tall young boxer like Barthelemy. Williams displayed his speed and combinations, which are going to be his main tools to keep his unbeaten record.

“We work with different fighters, looking for balance between speed and power. We are fighting in five weeks, and the progress is obvious. The sparring partners with similar characteristics to the next opponent are necessary in this stage,” indicated Ramón Garbey.

Williams and Barthelemy will stake their unbeaten records, and the winner will be on the road to a solid ranking among the top sanctioning bodies.
