The WBA super bantamweight world champion Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux continues to train hard for his next fight on June 9th against Teon Kennedy, where the Cuban will defend for his belt for the first time since winning it in January of this year against Rico Ramos in Las Vegas. Rigondeaux-Kennedy is part of the pay-per-view card where Manny Pacquiao will defend his WBO championship against Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Rigondeaux and his team of Jorge Rubio, Ramón Garbey and DJ Montanocordoba are training every day at the Xtreme Boxing GYM in Hialeah, Miami, Florida.

Rigondeaux, now as a world champion, has been mentioned as a possibly rival for fighters like Nonito Donaire, Abner Mares, Jorge Arce and many of the champions from other organizations like the WBO and WBC.
