The weights are in for Saturday night's action, when Zanfer Promotions dramatically closes out the month of October with Cesar Juarez facing Filipino Richard "The Beast" Pumicpic at the Auditorio Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. Azteca 7, La Casa Del Boxeo, will transmit the card.
The clash of Mexico vs Philippines - Juarez (20-5, 16 KOs) and Pumicpic (18-7-2, 6 KOs) - will take place in the super bantamweight division.
Juarez comes back from a big shocking win. After recovering from a knockdown in the first round, Juarez came from behind and score a knockout in dramatic fashion over the betting favorite and previously unbeaten Filipino Albert "Prince" Pagara (27-1, 18 KOs) in the eighth round in July in San Mateo, California.
Before that fight, the 24-year fighter from Mexico City staged a fierce fight with Nonito Donaire. Juarez lost a close decision and had Donaire in some trouble in their 2015 Fight of The Year candidate.
Pumicpic, 26-years-old, is the WBC's International super bantamweight champion.
