Tijuana, BC. - Alejandro "Alex" Lopez believes his chance to fight for a world championship is close, so he can not afford to lose. José Palma says he did not travel so far, from Barranquilla, Colombia, to Tijuana, Mexico, and he plans to return home with a win. Lopez (22-2-0, 7 KOs) vs. Palma (15-4-2, 10 KOs) takes place on Saturday at the Municipal Auditorium in Tijuana, which is going to be the start of the 2012 season of Zanfer Boxing. TV Azteca will televise the bout, which is agreed upon for ten rounds at 124 pounds.

In the co-feature, Felipe "Gallo" Orucuta (22-1-0, 18 KOs) and Robert "Jet" Castaneda (18-0-0, 13 KOs) will collide over ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
