GUAYNABO, PUERTO RICO - Lightweights Fernando Torres (17-1, 10KO's) and Abner "Pin" Cotto (11-0, 5KO's) had no issues with the pre-fight weigh-in, which is required to take place one week before a scheduled fight by the Professional Boxing Commission (CBPPR) of Puerto Rico. Next Friday the two boxers collide at the Convention Center in Guayama. During the pre-fight weigh-in, neither man is able to weigh no more than 5% of the contracted weight.

Fernando Torres stepped on the scale at 141.7 pounds and Cotto was 139 pounds.
