Alexis Santiago and Erik Ruiz made weight for their scheduled 10-round bantamweight bout Tuesday evening at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Santiago (20-3-1, 8KOs) tipped the scales at 120 lbs., while the granite chinned Ruiz (15-4, 6KOs) weighed 119.4 lbs. Their bout serves as the main event for Tuesday's offering of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox Sports 1.

Despite neither boasting a glossy record, both ride a wave of momentum entering their clash.

Santiago has won nine straight, including an eight-round decision over Gustavo Molina last October just outside his Phoenix hometown in Glendale, Arizona. Ruiz - who lives and trains in Oxnard, Calif. - had dropped three of his previous four starts before scoring an upset win over previously unbeaten Roy Tapia last November.
