BoxingScene can confirm that Ovill McKenzie (25-12-1, 13 KOs) has been removed from Frank Warren's April 30 bill at London's O2 Arena after picking up an injury that has hampered the 36-year-old's pre-fight preparations.  The news was confirmed earlier today by Warren's office.

McKenzie was due to meet Dmytro Kucher for the vacant EBU cruiserweight belt, but will have to wait a little bit longer for his first fight since drawing with Victor Emilio Ramirez for the IBF belt in October.

It is the second withdrawal from the show following last week's news that Billy Joe Saunders would not be making the first defence of his WBO middleweight belt on the bill.  Saunders was due to meet Max Bursak yet was ruled out due to a hand injury—Hughie Fury's test WBO International heavyweight title fight against Fred Kassi is now the show's headline act.

Fury will be supported by Liam Walsh's British and Commonwealth Super featherweight title fight against Troy James.  Ryan Walsh, his brother, is also in title action; he defends his British featherweight belt against mandatory challenger James Tennyson.

Further title action will be provided by Anthony Nelson’s Commonwealth Super flyweight title defence against Jamie Conlon.
