In the main event of Knockout Live, presented by Azteca America, Hector Camacho Jr. (58-7-1) was upset by rugged Mexican veteran Orlando Lora (33-7). The son of the legend started out fast using his superior speed and foot movement to outbox his opponent. The tide started to turn in the third round as Machito became more stationary.

The trend continued and in the 7th, when Lora floored Camacho 12 seconds into the round. Referee Russell Mora immediately waived the fight off. The fight was Camacho's first in nearly 3 years.

In the co-feature bout Ronald Johnson improved to 18-1 in a slugfest against Serio Ramirez (14-4). The fight was much closer hat the 79-73 and 78-74, 78-74 scorecards. Both men traded big punches throughout the night in their heavyweight clash.

Over in Mexico, there was a big upset in the Telemundo televised main event - when a boxer viewed by many as a journeyman and big underdog coming in to the contest, Josue “Chino” Veraza (19-8-2, 14 KOs), boxed his way to a shocking ten round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Romulo Koasicha (25-7, 15 KOs) to capture the vacant WBO Latino title at the Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City.

There was a lot of shocked fans at ringside when Veraza sent Koasicha down with a big left hand in the second. He continued a very aggressive pace for the remainder of the fight and made it very tough for Koasicha to get anything going for himself.

After the smoke cleared, all three judges were in agreement with scores of 99-90, 98-91 and 99-90 in favor of the underdog.
