BoxingScene.com has been advised that super bantamweight prospect Orlando "Orlandito" Del Valle (16-0) has agreed to face former three division champion Vic Darchinyan (37-5-1).  The fight will take place on September 29th and will be televised on HBO2 as part of their new series that is expected to have a similiar format to Showtime's ShoBox series.

The fight will be a major step up for Del Valle who last fought in April when he defeated Christopher Martin via unanimous decision. Darchinyan has lost his past two fights which both took place at 118 pounds.  This will be Armenian's first fight at as a super bantamweight.  He has held titles in the flyweight, super flyweight and bantamweight division.

Super middleweight prospects Edwin Rodriguez and Thomas Oosthuizen are also scheduled to appear in separate bouts on the tripleheader.

The Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is the front runner to host the event.
