On February 14th, 2015 the World Boxing Council (WBC) will celebrate its 52nd anniversary. Turkish Promoter Ahmet Öner has a special "birthday present" for the world's biggest and most influential sanctioning body by hosting four WBC title fights on one night in Adana, Turkey.

"We put together a very special card to celebrate the WBC and we will also pay a tribute to Don Jose Sulaiman in Adana", says Öner. "It has always been one of Don Jose's big dreams to have more activity in the Middle East. The reigning WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman is following his father's lead, and we are very proud to present a great night of WBC championships in Turkey."

In the main event, unbeaten Bugra Öner (7-0) will take on Ramazi Gogichashvili from Georgia (16-4-2) in a WBC Youth World supermiddleweight championship. In the co-feature, Bugra's older brother Altpug Öner (7-0) takes on Georgian Mindia Nozadze (16-6) for the WBC Eurasian Pacific supermiddleweight championship.

"The Öner brothers may not be as big as the Klitschko brothers but they are promising prospects and big stars already in their hometown Adana", states the promoter. "By the way, even though we share the same last name we are no relatives."

Ahmet Öner is also presenting his promising heavyweight hope Muhammed Al Zein who will fight for the WBC Mediterranean championship in his fourth pro-fight. "This kid is very special", says Öner. "He has been a great amateur and we are proud an honored that he has been approved to fight for this important title even at a young age."

The fourth championship bout features former MMA fighter Aziz Karaoglu who is fighting for the vacant WBC Mediterranean cruiserweight championship.

"It will be a fantastic night for the WBC and for Turkish boxing", adds Öner. "And this is only a starting point to a great series of events."

Only two weeks after the show in Adana, Ahmet Öner will present his next card in Turkey when heavyweight contenders Odlanier Solis and Tony Thompson square off for their highly anticipated rematch  in Antalya on February 27th.
