According to sources in Ukraine, a huge night of boxing is planned for September 27 in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv. The night of boxing will be staged by K2 Promotions. One fighter, who already confirmed his participation on the event is 2012 Olympic heavyweight gold medalist and also 2011 world champion Olexander Usyk (4-0, 4 KOs), who now competes as a cruiserweight.

“Frankly speaking, and I’m ashamed of this fact, I don’t know the name of my next opponent. I’ve forgot it. He was presented to me, and I was said that I would be fighting that lad. This doesn’t bother me at all”, commented Usyk to local sources.

One familiar name, who might be added to this event is a local hero Andriy Kotelnik (31-4-1, 13 KOs), who last fought in August 2010 losing a highly debatable decision to Devon Alexander for the WBC/IBF light welterweight titles. Kotelnik, 36, himself is an Olympic silver medalist and a former WBA light welterweight king with a win over Marcos Rene Maidana on his resume.
