Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon, Wiltshire - Middleweight contender Eamonn O'Kane (13-1-1, 5KOs), ranked at eight under the IBF, kept himself in the running for a title shot by knocking out Ferenc Hafner (23-7, 12KOs) in the fourth round. It was O’Kane’s first fight with new trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick, who trains top super middleweight George Groves. With Felix Sturm and Billy Joe Saunders rejecting the IBF's order to fight Hassan N’Dam for the vacant IBF crown - number eight ranked O'Kane moved closer to being a possible challenger to the title.
