Last week, it was announced overseas that Nobuhiro Ishida (23-6-2, 8 KOs) would face Avtandil “Tornado” Khurtsidze (26-2-2, 17 KOs) for the vacant WBC Silver middleweight title on December 17th in Zaporizhyya, Ukraine.

But on Monday, Canelo Promotions, who handle Ishida, officially announced his appearance on the Saul Alvarez-Kermit Cintron undercard on November 26th in Mexico.

It marks the first ring outing for Ishida since the April shocker where he stopped James Kirkland in the first round of their Las Vegas clash at the MGM Grand.

According to Canelo Promotions, Ishida is more than willing to grant Kirkland the opportunity of a rematch. Kirkland is once again a hot ticket, after traveling to Mexico on Saturday night to batter Alfrdo Angulo inside of six rounds.
