Chris Eubank Jr. is warming up for his WBSS quarter-final clash against Turkish Avni Yilderim with Floyd Mayweather and the Money Team.

“I have trained with Floyd and the Money Team on and off for years now,” said Chris Eubank Jr.

“It is Floyd’s last ever training camp and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to be a part of that. So I booked my flight and I'll be at the Mayweather Boxing Gym until the beginning of September,” said the British IBO super middleweight champion.

While Eubank Jr. is preparing himself for the battle of the 168lb (76,2 kg) Muhammad Ali Trophy, Mayweather is focusing on another much anticipated fight against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

“I will be ringside for the big fight against McGregor. I haven't been this intrigued to watch a fight in years. Nobody really knows what's going to happen and that's what I think makes it so appealing.”

Eubank Jr. booked his ticket to the World Boxing Super Series after his hard-fought unanimous decision over Arthur Abraham at the Wembley Arena July 15, and since then he has remained in training.

"It was straight back to the gym after the Abraham fight. No rest for the wicked," said Eubank Jr.

Venue and date for Eubank Jr. vs. Avni Yilderim will be announced shortly.

WBO World Champion Oleksandr Usyk (12-0, 10 KOs) and Marco Huck (40-4-1, 27 KOs) both confident before the first ever contest of the World Boxing Super Series, the cruiserweight quarter-final at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, Berlin on September 9th.

“This is a big fight,” said Marco Huck. “I have had many big fights in my career, so this is nothing new to me.  I have won world titles and defended them many times, but the Muhammad Ali Trophy is unique, and I will add it to my collection!”

“Usyk is the so-called favourite, but he will regret that he picked me,” said Huck, who held the WBO title from 2009 to 2015, making thirteen consecutive successful defenses.

Number one seed in the 200lb (90.7 kg) bracket, Usyk, picked the experienced German fighter at the the Draft Gala in Monaco in July.

30-year-old Usyk, who took Gold at heavyweight at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, will have been reigning WBO World Champion for almost a full year when he enters the ring in Berlin.

“The fact that we are fighting in Germany makes me want to win even more,” said Usyk

“I will fight with passion, but I’m not going to reveal how I will beat him. I picked Huck because my fans urged me on social media. Huck was the most famous of the four fighters I could choose. Huck is very experienced and he isn’t scared of anything, so my fans and Huck’s fans will be witnessing a great fight!”

Roberto Dalmiglio, Comosa´s Head of Management Board, is looking forward to the World Boxing Super Series kicking-off on September 9th. “The first fight of the tournament will be staged in one of the most famous and influential cities in Europe in one of the most important boxing markets. Two great champions and the first glimpse of one of the favourites – in such renowned venue. The experience and the quality of Huck will offer a top fight of unprecedented quality delivered by the World Boxing Super Series.”

Comosa’s Chief Boxing Officer, Kalle Sauerland is predicting an exciting bout in Berlin. “I believe that the fans in are in for an electrifying opener to the World Boxing Super Series and 8 consecutive weekends of action. I genuinely felt electricity between the pair, I think Huck really wanted Usyk to pick him and the way they faced off on the stage in Monaco it was a sign of things to come. I’m not sure the judges will be needed in this one.”

Stated Bentley about the signing, “Real Deal Sports & Entertainment continues to scour the globe for the best talent, and we believe Fabio is a diamond in the rough.  We are excited to work with Mario Loreni to develop Fabio into a world champion, and hopefully he is the first of many that we can co-promote with one another.  Fabio is an incredible talent with a stellar amateur career and is on the fast-track to make noise in a loaded Cruiserweight division.  Who better to learn from than the greatest cruiserweight in the history of the sport, co-owner of our company, Evander Holyfield.”

Said Turchi, “Coming to the United States and fighting under the “Real Deal” banner is a dream come true, for me. When I was a young kid, and I couldn’t fight as I was too young, I used to enjoy the boxing games at the Playstation – and I ALWAYS picked Evander Holyfield. Now, years later, I can work alongside the real Evander… that’s really a dream come true.”

“Evander Holyfield is, by far, the best cruiserweight in boxing history: every other boxer can only hope to become the second one after him. I am confident that, under his guidance, I can properly work toward this goal and, hopefully, achieve it.”

“I am happy and excited about this partnership,” said Loreni. “Fabio Turchi has all of the tools to become a world champion and we all will work hard to help him make it – from both sides of the Ocean.”

Following a very highly decorated amateur career, Turchi has turned heads quickly since turning professional two years ago with his crowd pleasing knockouts in his native country.

Most recently the 24-year-old Turchi knocked out veteran Cesar David Crenz in the fourth round on July 15, 2017, earning the vacant WBC International Silver Cruiserweight Title.

Amassing a stellar amateur record of 106 wins and only 9 losses, Turchi was a four-time winner of the Italian Championships (2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013), a Silver Medalist in the 2011 Youth Olympics in Singapore and a Silver Medalist in the 2014 Military World Championships in Kazakhstan. He was also the Bronze Medalist at the 2010 World Youth Championships and Gold Medalist in the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Turkey.
