Unbeaten Argentina warrior girl Nazarena “Capricho” Romero claimed the interim-WBA super bantamweight world title defeating taller compatriot Julieta “La Zorrita” Cardozo via send round TKO on Saturday night at the Club de Ajedrez in La Calera, Córdoba, Argentina.

The winner “Capricho” Romero began the battle by quickly dominating the center of the ring, harassing her opponent without giving her a respite, although Cardozo weathered the first chapter storm with defensive maneuvers.

But in the secnd stanza, the fighting lady from Recreo, Catamarca, went all out, harshly punishing the body of "La Zorrita," then crushingly attacking her with a barrage of blows that forced the third man Gerardo Poggi to stop the 98-second combat right at the moment when Cardozo was on her way to the canvas.

Now the new interim-queen Capricho" Romero (11-0, 5 KO’s), awaits for her unification rumble against WBA 122-pound regular champion Mayerlín “La Monita” Rivas (16-4-2, 10 KO’s) of Maracaibo, Venezuela.

In the co-feature, middleweight Jairo Rayman of Rio Negro defeated seasoned Sergio Sanders with a spectacular TKO in the 1st round.

Welterweight Williams Herrera claimed a unanimous decision over Darío Baigorria.

Also in welterweights, Vicente Pérez knocked out Carlos Laciar in three.

Super Bantamweight José Alberto Arias won a unanimous decision over to Gabriel Quiroga.

Alan Randazzo scored a majority decision over to William Cuevas at welterweight.
