Lightweight contender John Molina Jr. is ounting down the hours until his fight against WBC champion Antonio DeMarco. On a recent edition of The Boxing Lab, BoxingScene's official audio show, Molina told us that this was one of the best camps of his career.

"Camp has gone really, really well. Sparring was great. Luis Ramos was up there and we had a few other guys up there. Nothing but southpaws. I can't wait to get in there and do what I do best."

Molina and DeMarco are both known as offensive fighters who have holes in their defense. The Southern California based Molina thinks that DeMarco will try to outbox him in the early on in the fight but feels that he will eventually catch his opponent. He points to his knockout win over Hank Lundy as an example of this.

"He's similar to me style wise. I'm sure he will try to box me at first but the fight is 12 rounds and like Lundy found out you can't box for the whole 12 rounds. Eventually you have to fight," Molina told The Boxing Lab.

DeMarco-Molina will be televised by HBO this Saturday as the co-feature to the Andre Ward-Chad Dawson main event.
