The International Boxing Federation has ordered IBF junior lightweight champion Argenis Mendez, and undefeated Rances "Kid Blast" Barthelemy (19-0, 12 KOs), to reach a rematch agreement by March 3rd or their fight will head to a purse bid.

Barthelemy knocked out Mendez (21-2-1, 11KOs) in two rounds on January 3rd, but his knockout punches came after the bell. Mendez's team appealed the loss and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry agreed with their position, that Barthelemy's punches came after the bell, and the MDLI overturned the knockout loss - making the end result a no-decision.
