Barry McGuigan says former champion Hugo Cazares will meet a new and improved Carl Frampton at the Odyssey in Belfast on April 4. The two fighters are going to collide in a final WBC super bantamweight eliminator. The winner will get a shot at next month's fight between WBC champion Leo Santa Cruz and mandatory challenger Cristian Mijares.

McGuigan expects Cazares to be a tough task to overcome.

“This guy will give him problems. He does not move like Steve Molitor. He won’t move back as quickly like Jermey Parodi. He will stand and have a fight but it will be under his terms and he will try to be clever," McGuigan said to Newsletter. “We have a gameplan and that is that he will have to go and get him.

“He will be much more difficult than Steve Molitor. He is far more clever in the ring than Kiko Martinez. He is also very experienced, he can bang as well as he has a great left hook. So because of all these things Carl will have to be switched on from the first bell top the last bell.”
