Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father and former trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs), doesn't see the new WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (29-0, 12KOs) being a obstacle for his son. Last Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over Mayweather's rival, Manny Pacquiao.

There is now widespread discussion about Pacquiao facing Juan Manuel Marquez on November 10th in Las Vegas. If that fight follows through, then Bradley would be left without an opponent. Floyd Jr., currently serving an 89 day jail sentence for a domestic abuse charge, is expected to leave the Las Vegas detention center in August and then wants to fight before the end of the year.

"I thought Pacquiao won that fight, but what about all of the other fights that he should have lost...like last last year with Marquez. I don't know if my son would fight Bradley. It wouldn't be a fight if they did. [Bradley] would be tailor made for my son. He's tailor made like a suit," Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.
