The May 4 pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero sold a total of 14,258 tickets and pulled in a gate of $9,922,350, according to the Nevada Athletic Commission, which released these numbers Friday, confirming the revenue figure announced on fight night by Golden Boy Promotions.

That gate figure is an average of nearly $696 per ticket sold. Tickets’ face values were $1,500, $1,250, $800, $600, $300 and $200.

The announced attendance at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino was 15,880. A total of 1,459 tickets were given away for free, and 139 tickets went unsold, according to the athletic commission.

The card is the 16th-highest-grossing boxing match to take place in Nevada, and Mayweather’s 5th biggest in the state, behind his wins over Oscar De La Hoya (No. 1 in gross sales at $18,419,200), Miguel Cotto (No. 9 at $12,000,150), Shane Mosley (No. 12 at $11,032,100) and Ricky Hatton (No. 15 at $10,393,950).

The rest of the top 15 in Nevada is dominated by bouts involving Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. The lone exception: Joe Calzaghe vs. Bernard Hopkins, ranked No. 11 with a live gate of $11,636,400.

Mayweather outpointed Guerrero in the main event on May 4, winning 117-111 on all three judges’ scorecards and improving his unblemished record to 44-0 with 26 knockouts. Guerrero fell to 31-2-1 with 18 knockouts and 2 no contests.
