Undefeated featherweight prospect Nicolas Arce (4-0 4 KOs) is 3-0 in 2015 and will attempt to keep his perfect record intact when he returns to the ring on Saturday.  His opponent was still unknown as of this writing (September 28th). His fight will be part of the Lucas Matthysse-Viktor Post undercard.

The 19-year-old said that he isn't bothered by the fact that he didn't have an opponent to focus on during his training camp and that he will be prepared for whatever his opponent brings to the ring.

"Training camp went really well. I had really good sparring.  They are still working on my opponent so we are training for different styles so I will be ready to go," said Arce who is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

This will be Arce's 5th fight in 11 months.  Saturday's fight will be his first scheduled for 6 rounds.  Even though none of his opponents have made it to the final bell, Arce said that he will be ready to fight all 6 rounds.

"I like the activity level.  I am very focused and motivated and like being busy.  It is a little bit different to be moving up to 6 round fights but at the end of the day it still a fight and I will be ready to go the distance if necessary," Arce explained.

Arce is still a few years away from contender status but BoxingScene.com asked the prospect to give his take on who he feels is the best fighter is in the loaded featherweight division.

"There are a lot of good of fighters at featherweight.  That is a tough one.  I don't know if he is going to be moving up in his next fight but Rigondeaux is very good. There are many good fighters in the division," Arce stated while also promising to put on a great performance on Saturday.

"I am very thankful for all the support the fans give me.  I always want to put on a show for them. They make a lot of noise for me when I am in the ring and I hope to put on another great show for them."
