If WBA interim-middleweight champion Martin Murray (25-1, 11KOs) is capable of obtaining a visa to enter Australia, he will defend his title against Garth Wood on NOvember 30th in Sydney. Murray has been out of the ring since losing a close twelve round decision to WBC champion Sergio Martinez on April 27 in Argentina. Wood (12-3-1, 8KOs) had a huge upset in 2010 when he stopped Anthony Mundine in five rounds. But then Wood lost to Mundine in their rematch and was outboxed a year later by Sam Soliman. Wood won his last two, including a win that brought him the WBA Pan African title in May.
