A few days ago, Hall of Fame trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain, who works with former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs), said he liked the idea of a super-fight with Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs), who is also a four division world champion and currently holds the WBC title at 160-pounds.

Before fans explode with anticipation, Nacho made an appearance on ESPN Radio and said the fight was practically "impossible" due to the difference in weight. Marquez will only fight as a high as the welterweight limit of 147-pounds and Cotto is unlikely to fight any less than 154-pounds, which is the junior middleweight limit.

Nacho initially mentioned a catch-weight of 150-pounds, which is also unlikely as Cotto turned down a catch-weight of 150 when it was presented by Manny Pacquiao's handlers in a 2012 rematch offer.

Having said that, he still feels strongly that Cotto-Marquez would be "a fantastic fight" because of the "technical richness" of both fighters.

If Marquez decides to continue his career, Nacho says his fighter will face a top welterweight - preferably for a world title.
