Undefeated Abner Mares (24-0-1, 13 KOs) is ready for the most difficult fight in his professional career. On November 10th at Staples Center in California, he defends his WBC super bantamweight crown against Panamanian challenger Anselmo Moreno (33-1-1, 12 KOs) in a Showtime televised main event.

Mares, 26, admits that on paper the match is toughest of his entire career, but the Mexican champion is training hard to make the fight look easy.

"I'm very motivated. The harder [the fight] is - the more motivated I get. These are the fights were you feel more motivation, and we have been training hard for the last several weeks," said Mares.

"On paper it looks like the toughest fight of my career. Now, sometimes the fights that are seen as the most difficult are the easiest, but yes, the fight against Moreno is the most complicated - because of his style, he is very defensive, he is a very elusive fighter.

"He is a good fighter, but he is not invincible. He has flaws and he is not perfect. We know how to beat him and how to hurt him."
