Marcos 'Dorado' Reyes knows that he will be tagged as a victim in his May 6th fight from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where he faces dangerous knockout artist David Lemieux.

The fight will be part of the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to the all-Mexican battle between Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Reyes admits that he was surprised to land this opportunity, and he wants to do whatever is possible to increase his possibility to get an upset. For now he will be training at the Otomi Ceremonial Center in Mexico, and hopes to add physical trainer Memo Heredia to his team. Memo is also being used as Chavez Jr.

Lemieux, a former IBF middleweight champion with a record of 37-3 and 33 KOs, just knocked Curtis Stevens out in very brutal fashion on March 11.

"The truth is this was not expected, it was a surprise for me, especially since it came after I suffered a loss and then got a victory over a little-known opponent. God only knows why things happen like this happen and I feel that Lemieux is not invincible. He's a fighter with a punch that knows how to attack very well, but he doesn't know how to defend himself and that is where we want to exploit him," Reyes (35-4, 26 KOs) said.

"I'm going to do some medical tests that they've asked of me and then I'm going to go to Otomí immediately, if I can get in there with the Chavez team. This time I'll go with my coaches Rodolfo Montes and Edgar Enriquez. We are in talks to add Memo Heredia. I need to arrive in the best physical and mental condition."

"I'm a realist, I know that you do not expect much from me, but it's always motivated me to do my best and break the odds. To continue dreaming has brought me here."
