MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Marco Antonio Periban (20-1-1, 13KOs) and undefeated Badou Jack (15-0-1, 10KOs) fought to a ten round draw in their NABF super middleweight title fight. The scores were 96-94 for Periban, and two cards of 95-95 for the draw.

Periban started fast, throwing a lot of punches to the head and especially the body. Jack was defensive and looking for openings. Jack was finding a home for his punches in the second and doing well in the third. In the fourth, Periban suffered a bad looking cut above his right eye. Periban came out strong in the fifth, working hard and landing a good amount of his shots to the body. The seventh was close with Periban outworking Jack, who landed some good punches of his own.

Jack landed several good shots to the head in the seventh and may have swept it with the judges, although Periban finished better. They were trading big shots in the eight and both hand their moments. Periban's nose opened up during some of their big exchanges. Jack had a huge ninth, as Periban tired and had little to offer. Jack unloaded with both hands, landing numerous clean shots to the head of Periban. In the tenth and final round, Periban switched up his style by sticking and moving and may have taken the final point with Jack giving chase most of the way.
