Cedric Boswell (35-2, 26 KO) is set to enter the ring for the first time since December of 2011, when he was knocked out in eight round by then WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin in Helsinki, Finland.

Boswell's other defeat came at the hands of Jameel McCline in October of 2003 in a fight where Boswell was leading on the cards and got hurt and stopped in the final round.

The 46-year-old veteran will face Polish prospect Marcin Rekowski (16-1, 13 KO), who is best known for his fights with former champion Oliver McCall and his son Elijah McCall. The older McCall won the first meeting with an upset eight round split decision in February of 2014 and then the Pole got revenge with a ten round decision in their rematch two months later.

Rekowski, at 37-years-old, started boxing very late with his pro debut happening in 2012.

The fight with Boswell takes place on September 26th in Lodz as part of the big gala with Tomasz Adamek facing Przemyslaw Saleta in the main event.
