Former junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi is about a month away from his title fight against WBA welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko. Malignaggi has trained for his most recent fights at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, CA under the tutelage of Eric Brown. With Senchenko being trained by Wild Card owner Freddie Roach, Brown and the fighter of Italian-American descent have moved their training camp to the East Coast.

"In New York I have just been making my rounds where I get sparring. I have been over in Sadam Ali's gym (to spar with Ali) and on Monday I trained at the Passaic, New Jersey PAL and sparred with Glenn Tapia," said Malignaggi as he advised us of his chief sparring partners.

Malignaggi also advised BoxingScene that he will be leaving for Milan on April 9th. He plans on having the final two weeks of his training camp in Italy so that he will be acclimated to the difference in time zones when he steps in the ring against  Senchenko in the Ukraine.

"In Milan I will be training at the new OPI 2000 boxing gym.  Training in Milan is just to get used to the time zone a little better.  It will feel good because I have friends and also some family living in Milan," stated Malignaggi.

Senchenko-Malignaggi will be available in U.S. via Integrated Sports pay-per-view.
