Carson, California, StubHub Center - Lightweight Alejandro Luna landed the harder and more-effective punches in winning an eight round unanimous decision over former world featherweight titleholder Cristobal Cruz (40-16-3, 24 KOs). All three judges scored the bout in favor of Luna (18-0, 13 KOs), 80-72, 80-72, and 79-73.

Welterweight Fabian Maidana (7-0, 6 KOs) stopped David Nelson in the first round. Nelson (3-4, 1 KO) was dropped twice before referee Wayne Hedgepeth saw enough and waved the fight over at 1:19.

In the opening bout of the TGB Promotions card, junior middleweight Oscar Molina (13-0, 10 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Todd Manuel. Molina dropped Manuel in the first round and most of the exchanges throughout the bout against the competitive Manuel. All three judges scored the bout in favor of Molina, 80-71, 80-71, and 79-72.

Welterweight Anthony Flores won a four round unanimous decision over Joaquin Chavez (9-16-3, 2 KOs). Chavez was able to land an occasional rights to Flores' head, but Flores (8-0, 5 KOs) was able to outbox Chavez throughout the bout. All three judges scored the bout 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37 for Flores.
