WBA Super-Middleweight World Champion (Interim) Brian Magee (35-4, 24 KOs) has arrived in Denmark. Four days ahead of his clash with Rudy Markussen (37-2, 24 KOs) at Broendby Hall, the Northern Irish veteran landed at Copenhagen airport on Tuesday night.

“It´s good to be back in Denmark,” he said. “I have great memories and I have won a lot of fights here. On Saturday, I will defeat Rudy Markussen and defend my title. He has a lot of power but I also have a lot of power. I have as many knockouts as he has. It will be a great fight.”

Earlier today, Markussen conducted a media work-out in downtown Copenhagen. “I am hungry and I am ready,” the Hardhitter stated. “This is the chance I have been waiting for. The big day has finally arrived. I am in very good shape. I don´t think Magee really knows how hard I can punch. Once he finds out, it will be too late for him. His title will stay in Denmark.”

Magee will hold his public work-out on Wednesday at 14h followed by Patrick and Micki Nielsen. Tickets for the first Nordic Fight Night are available at billetnet.dk. The TV3+ broadcast starts at 20h on Saturday night.
