According to manager Frank Espinoza,  his client, lightweight Diego Magdaleno, is signed, sealed and delivered for his second opportunity at a major world title in the fall.

"October 10th is the date, we'll be fighting in Manchester, England against Terry Flanagan for the WBO lightweight title," he confirmed to BoxingScene.com on Friday.

Back in April of 2013, Magdaleno fought for this very same belt and lost a 12-round decision to Roman Martinez in Macao. Since then the 28-year old southpaw from Las Vegas has reeled off five consecutive victories, which includes a seventh-round stoppage of Jose A. Gonzalez on June 26th, which was a WBO elimination bout. Magdaleno has a pro record of 28-1(12 KO's).

"Diego's ready, he'll be prepared. He knows what he has to do. He's gotta go and take this fight to Flanagan to win the world championship. He's learned his lesson from the last time in China, now it's time for him to go out and do it. He knows what he needs to do."

Flanagan-Magdaleno will be part of a card that includes the rescheduled bout between WBO middleweight Andy Lee and Billy Saunders.
