IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (28-0, 23KOs) is ready to leave Canada for a big fall showdown with former champion Mikkel Kessler. The Danish boxer was present as Bute knocked out Brian Magee in ten rounds at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

"I am ready to go anywhere, whether it's in New York, Las Vegas, Romania," Bute said. "If he dares to fight me, I'll face Mikkel Kessler."

Kessler, who left the Super Six tournament in 2010 after suffering an right eye injury, will take an interim-fight to shake off the rust. Then he wants Bute in the fall.

"Lucian is a great champion and Kessler is also a great boxer. I think it's going to make for a great fight," said Magee, who Bute dropped three times before the referee stopped the contest in the tenth.
