Aarhus, Denmark - Super middleweight veteran Lolenga Mock (38-14-1) outscored Argentinian Ruben Eduardo Acosta (32-15-2) over ten in the headliner of this marathon show. Mock won on scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92. Acosta made a good start and won the first two rounds but then Mock came on strong and wore him down with steady pressure. Acosta was stunned by a left hook in the eighth and his nose kept leaking blood. Mock kept coming and showed as usual excellent stamina. He is now 7-0 in the last year with all wins against solid opponents.

Heavyweight Pierre Madsen (5-0) got a knockout win over Brazilian Adilson Da Silva Santos (boxrec says 8-5) at 2.59 of the sixth and final round. Santos held, held and held some more and when Madsen finally pushed him down he wouldn´t get up and the referee counted him out. It was a poor fight where Santos held and hit while Madsen tried to work but couldn´t find the space or range.

Cruiserweight prospect Detlev Rossing (2-0) threw everything he had at Ivan Lysytsa (2-5) from Ukraine but at the end of their four rounder Lysytsa was still standing but went down on scores of 40-35 on all cards. The fight appeared to be heading for an early ending as Rossing came out smokin´ and hurt and floored his opponents with body shots. Lysytsa was in real trouble but knew enough on survival and as the fight progressed Rossing became less and less effective.

Light heavyweight Jonas Madsen (7-0) stopped Ukrainian Davyd Gorohovets (4-1) under controversial circumstances when the Ukrainian corner appeared to retire their fighter but then protested when it indeed was stopped after a wild fight. Gorohovets was out fast and guickly got the stronger, better schooled Dane under pressure but punched himself out. Madsen floored his opponent in the fourth but had a point deducted as he followed up with punches that landed in the back of the head Gorohovets. The fifth opened with a right from Gorohovets and Madsen went down on one knee in a flash knockdown but quickly came back and had the Ukrainian under pressure later in the round. The sixth was dominated by the Dane as Gorohovets was tired. After six it was scored 56-56, 58-55 Madsen and 57-55 Gorohovets - all in all a wild fight scheduled for eight-two minute rounds

Featherweight Ali Mohamed (4-0) outscored Spaniard Luis Felipe Castro (3-1) after six fastpaced rounds. It was scored 58-56 and 60-54 twice. Mohamed showed nice moves but was too eager to impress and Castro had to tie him up and it led to a messy fight.

Cruiserweight Mortens Fruensgaard (4-0) struggled to outscore Latvian southpaw Konstantin Bulohovs (2-1) in a another six-rounder. Fruensgaard won on scores of 59-55 twice and 60-54 but made hard work of it after dominating the first three with a solid, powerful jab. The troubles became as he tried to follow up and walked into counters from Bulohovs.

The Tank is back! Heavyweight Sherman "Tank" Williams (39-15-2) stopped Brazilian Mateus Roberto Osorio (boxrec says 9-3) in the first of a scheduled eight-rounder.

Williams, in Denmark as a trainer and sparring partner for some of the Danish prospects in the Nielsen / Palle stable, came out fast and looking to score with his heavy overhand right.

He came close many times but when he finally floored Osorio it was with a short right. Osorio got up but was hurt and should have been stopped but was allowed to continue. Williams followed up and scored with heavy hooks to the body until the Brazilian sank down and it was stopped at 2.05.

Super welterweight Mohamed Adel (4-0) opened Super Brian Nielsen / Mogens Palle Promotion´s 12-fight show at the Ceres Arena with a second round stoppage win over Latvian Ilja Sovdra (3-3). Sovdra was floored late in the first and twice in the second before it was stopped at 1.06. Sovdra have never gone the distance, win or lose, and one could understand why as he battled it out while under heavy fire from the talented Dane.
