At the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, an big event was presented by Hennessy Canada in collaboration with InterBox, Buxton Promotions and United Promotions. The main bout of the evening pitted Benoit Gaudet (24-3-0) against Logan McGuinness (16-0-1) for the NABA super featherweight title. After a hard fought battle, McGuinness stopped Gaudet by TKO at 1:56 of the eleventh round.

In the main support, Montrealer Ahmad Cheikho (6-4-2) and Samuel Vargas (8-0-1) fought a real war. Both fighters went down, Cheikho in the first and Vargas in the second. Subsequently, the fast pace caught up to Cheikho in the fourth, when he appeared to be exhausted and went down twice. He survived but got punished and went down again in the fifth. Cheiko's orner threw in the towel at the end of the fifth.

 

On the undercard, light heavyweight Lionell Thompson (10-0-0) of Buffalo won by unanimous decision over former IBF contender in Ramadan Abdullah (15-11-0). At lightweight, Harrison McBain (3-4-1) lost by TKO at 1:56 of the first round to Jeremy Abbott (7-0-0). Brendon Cook (3-0-0) got the best of Darren Fletcher (1-2-0), registering a victory by unanimous decision. At heavyweight, Dillon Carman (2-0-0) won by TKO at the 39 seconds of the first round against Gord Franjic (0-1-0).
