Middleweight contender David Lemieux (33-2) is in the final stages of his training camp for his June 20th showdown against Hassan N'Dam (31-1). The fight is for the vacant IBF title and will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec and will be televised on pay-per-view in Canada and Fox Sports2/Fox Deportes in the United States.

The 26-year-old Lemieux is fully focused on the task at hand but has big plans for the future. He said that he wants to unify titles and has no problems facing the other champions including the division's boogeyman, WBA/IBO/WBC interim champion Gennady Golovkin.

"I am interested in all of the top fighters. I want to fight the best. Triple G is in that mix so for sure I would love to fight him. I have to take care of this fight first then I am willing to fight anyone," Lemieux declared.

Lemieux's career started out with a bang as he was a red-hot prospect before losing back to back fights to Marco Antonio Rubio and Joachim Alcine. He has since successfully fought his way back to get in position to fight for his first world title.

"It's been a bumpy road that is for sure. I am going to prove to everyone that I am a real champion and I deserve to be where I am. Not everyone takes the same routes. Some routes are more complicated than others but a real champion always overcomes every obstacle and gets that cherry on top. We've worked very hard to change some of those things. I've improved to get where I am. To walk the walk you have to talk the talk," said Lemieux.

The hard hitting Montreal native said he has learned a lot from his losses and that he is a better fighter because of the experiences. He feels that the changes he has made will keep him at the top for a long time.

"I am a more complete fighter. I've learned a lot of things from the adjustments I had to make. It helps to see who is real around you as who is around you for the right reasons. You have to hit rock bottom to see things as they are. I made the changes I needed to do. Especially after the Rubio fight. I've always been a hard worker but now I have the comprehension of what it takes to win at the highest level," Lemieux old BoxingScene.com.
