Wales' IBF World Featherweight Champion Lee Selby is not concerned by the hostile reception he's set to receive in Leeds this week.

Selby makes the fifth defence of his belt against unbeaten mandatory challenger Josh Warrington at Elland Road football stadium, live on BoxNation.

There has been bad blood between the British rivals for a couple of years now, but the time for talking will be over on May 19th.

Speaking to 32Red, our official broadcast partner, the Barry bruiser reiterated his experience will prove to be the difference.

"I’ve done all kinds of sparring from unbeaten prospects to former World Champions and world level contenders. I’ve done it all. If I was going to train to fight myself, I wouldn’t know how to go about it because I’m different every fight. I can adapt to whatever is in front of me."

Warrington will be cheered on by over 20,000 raucous fans at the home of his beloved Leeds United, but Selby doesn't believe the fans will make a difference.

"It’s my second time fighting in a full stadium outdoors and it’s gonna be a big crowd. I can’t wait really. The environment doesn’t make any difference to me at all," argued the 31-year-old.

"We could be fighting in an empty gym or in a packed out stadium it won’t make any difference in the fight. I get the chance to showcase my talent in front of a big audience and that’s always nice."

A win over Warrington could propel Selby to another stadium showdown against Carl Frampton at Windsor Park in Belfast, which would be another huge event for British boxing.

"There are some very big fights domestically and on the world scene. It’s a great division to be involved in. I don’t feel pressure to perform, it’s just the pressure of winning really. Nobody remembers the guy who comes second and looks good. They remember the winner."
