According to Vladimir Hryunov, manager of WBA interim-cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (24-1, 18KOs), a fight against former champion Jean Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22KOs) is possible for the first week of June.

Lebedev returned on Wednesday in Moscow and knocked out Shawn Cox in two rounds. Mormeck last fought on March 3rd, getting stopped in four one-sided rounds by unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Mormeck has not made the cruiserweight limit since 2007, when he was knocked out by David Haye. He generally weighs around 215 to 216-pounds for his heavyweight bouts.
