OR Promotions, through their matchmaker Edgardo Rosani, announced the date and location of the rematch between the world flyweight champion of the International Boxing Federation, Argentina's Luis "Mosquito" Lazarte (48-9, 18KOs), and Mexican challenger Ulises "Archie" Solis (32-2, 21KOs). The fight will be held on Saturday April 30 in the United Eleven Club in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The is a rematch of a controversial fight, which took place in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on December 18, where Lazarte went to a twelve round majority draw with Solis. After a review of the video, the championship committee of the IBF immediately ordered a direct rematch. Solis appeared to be the clear winner after twelve rounds. There were several fouls in the bout, including the champion biting Solis, and somehow two judges saw it 113-113, while the third had it 117-109 for Solis.

The fight heads back to Argentina after OR Promotions, on behalf of the champion, won a mandatory purse bid. The placed in a bid of $300,000 to a bid of $230,000 from Solis' promoter Zanfer Promotions.
