Heavyweight contender Krzysztof Zimnoch (17-0-1, 11KOs) says he only needs three months to turn around and get back in the ring against his Polish rival Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12KOs). They were scheduled to fight each other several times, but the bout continued to get postponed due to a variety of reasons.

Szpilka had four big wins in 2013 - two knockouts of Mike Mollo, a decision of Brian Minto and a TKO win of Taras Bidenko. Zimnoch also had four outings in 2013, including a stoppage of Damian Trzcinski and decision wins over Oliver McCall, Mateusz Maludja and Art Binkowski.
