For nearly two years, unbeaten heavyweight prospect Krzysztof Zimnoch (17-0-1, 11 KOs) has been out of the ring due to a shoulder injury and long rehabilitation. The boxer has been asked to perform a the fourth annual Polsat Boxing Night, which this time will arrive on September 26 to Lodz.

The fighter has agreed to this proposal, but it still is not clear whether the organizers will find him a suitable opponent. Before suffering the injury, Zimnoch had a heated rivalry going with countryman Artur Szpilka. They were at one time set to face each other and actually brawled at a press conference, but the match never happened.

"Marian Kmita, head of sport in Polsat, gave me a call. He asked if I was ready for this appointment, and I assured him that I could be in good shape for that day. I've already started training with my target return being precisely set for the gala in Lodz," Zimnoch said.

The boxer is waiting to get confirmation on an opponent and further details on the return date.
