Street-fighting legend, former MMA fighter and beginning boxer Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (6-0, 5 KOs) is planning to make his next appearance in the boxing ring on January 30th at Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Australia. One of the main candidates to face Ferguson is an Australian fighter of Polish extraction Benjamin “The Overcomer” Wrotniak (5-0, 1 KOs), who has confirmed that he was offered a fight.

"I’m not 100% sure when I’ll return to the ring. Initially, I planned to be back sometime in March, but recently I got a phone call from Kimbo's team, and they offered me a fight in Australia at the end of January. I told them that I’m interested in facing him, and then they required video tapes of my previous fights. I’m going to get their definite answer early next year,” Wrotniak told BoxingBet.pl.

The main event of the evening at Entertainmen Center in Sydney will be a battle between Daniel Geale and Anthony Mundine with Geale’s IBF middleweight belt on the line.
