Kevin Satchell will return to the ring next month.

The former British, Commonwealth and European flyweight champion has been added to the undercard of a Frank Warren-promoted show at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena, which will be screened exclusively live on BoxNation.

Satchell (15-0, 3 KOs) last boxed on March 12 at the same venue, when he scored an eight-round points victory over Adrian Dimas Garson of Argentina.

And when he fights on the same bill as Liam Smith, who is in a defence of his WBO super-welterweight belt against Predrag Radosevic, on June 4, the 27-year-old will be looking to push towards global honours with a fourth consecutive victory inside the Merseyside setting.

“After this fight hopefully I’ll be getting a shot at an eliminator or even a shot at a word title,” said Satchell, “which is ultimately what I’m after.”

The MGM Marbella-managed puncher will be flanked by Paul Butler’s clash against Petchbarngborn Kokietgym in a defence of the WBO International super-flyweight title which doubles up as a final eliminator for the world title and a pair of European title showdowns on the bill –– with Ryan Farrag defending his bantamweight bauble against Karim Guerfi and Jazza Dickens and Abigail Medina contesting the vacant crown at 122lbs.

Meanwhile, Zolani Tete will defend the IBF International bantamweight title, Thomas Stalker will face Antonio Joao Bento for the vacant WBO European lightweight prize, Declan Geraghty is set for action for the second time in four weeks and Kalam Leather will join his brother, undefeated super-lightweight Josh Leather (9-0, 3 KOs), on the card as he makes his professional debut after signing a contract with Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions, while there are spots on the bill for Steven Lewis and British and Commonwealth super-welterweight champ Liam Williams, who fights over eight rounds.
