Jarvenpaa, Finland - Cruiserweight Samuli Karkkainen, a local hero and Kevin Melhus (11-0) from Norway clashed in the headliner of this Pro Boxing Team Finland event with the vacant WBO I-C title at stake.

It became a tense and tactical battle where Melhus seemed to blow it with a slow start. Karkkainen (18-2) forced the fight and looked like he had won it in the end by a clear margin. However, two of the judges saw it differently and had Melhus ahead by 97-95 and 96-94 while the third card read 97-93 for Karkkainen - and those numbers looked about correct even if many rounds were close and difficult to score.

Big heavyweight Mika Mielonen (7-1) fought with one eye shut for several rounds but still managed to get the decision against Austrian Arash Khojasteh (4-1). It looked close but all three judges scored it 60-54 for the Finn.

Fight of the night was a six-rounder between Finn Morad Hadadi (1-4) and Serbian Kristijan Kuzmanovic (4-0). The fight went back and forth and Hadid´s heavier punch seemed to win it for him but at the end the judges had it 58-56 both ways and 60-55 Kuzmanovic.

Super lightweight Elias Okkonen (6-0-1) outscored Isakhan Ahmadi i(4-4-1) after a good fight. It was scored 59-55 twice and 60-55.

Super middle Henri Malmstrom (2-1) knocked out Georgian Pridon Kakitashvili (1-15) in the fourth round.

Austrian entrepreneur, promoter and boxer Harald Pfingstl opened the show in a six rounder against Georgian veteran Mikheil Khutsishvili, who caved in after a body punch in the second and was counted out.
